London's 24th annual Lesbian and Gay Film Festival opens tonight. Among the films presented is one about early 19th dyke, Anne Lister, who wrote her diary in secret code.

Study looks at the specifics of LGBTQ Boomers. Among other things, they retire later and worry more about being able to take care of themselves as they age, compared to the general population.

Scientists in Germany invent a real live invisibility cloak, but it is 4 trillionths of an inch wide.

18-year-old high school student Erica DeBenedictis from Albuquerque, NM wins $100,000 in Intel's 2010 science talent search. She designed a software navigation system that helps spacecraft travel more efficiently within the solar system.
